#TweetCon (social media conference)

November 18, 2010

Facilitated by @I_amHologram

Tweets sometimes speak louder than press releases (@dollyannec )

#TweetCon is like a typical Press Conference, except that it happens on Twitter.

It is a tweetcussion among ordinary tweeple, actwivists, politwician, netizen journalists, bloggers and mainstream media.

Topics tackled cover advocacy endeavors , policy issues and other socially relevant concerns.

How it works:

(1) The Tweet Conference uses the hashtag #TweetCon.

(2) Once a month or on special occasions, a guest is invited to hold a #TweetCon on a  particular advocacy, social issue or event.

(3) All netizen journalists, bloggers and media tweeps are welcome to cover the #TweetCon. They may tweet questions anytime but guest answers all questions during the #TweetCon.

(4) @I_amHologram moderates the #TweetCon.
